Wright’s Pond is a historic and beautiful space near Medford MA homes. On Saturday, October 12th, it will be the site of Dance in the Fells: Wright’s Pond, a festival put on by Two Roads Performance Projects. The festival begins at noon, with Nabil Ata giving a vocal performance, accompanied by his Oud, a unique stringed instrument. The dances begin at 12:30 p.m.
Dancers who live in Medford MA homes should make a special effort to come to this festival. Four local choreographers will be presenting new, site-specific dances at Wright’s Pond. Featured choreographers will be Brian Crabtree, at Wright’s Pond Beach, Kara Fili and Tara Weaver at Wright’s Pond Path North, Alli Ross at Wright’s Pond Path South, and Monkeyhouse at the Promontory. There will be dances beginning on the half hour and the hour.
