“Free Fun Friday’s”
For the ninth year in a row, the Highland Foundation will sponsor “Free Fun Friday’s”. The program offers admission at no cost to various museums in Massachusetts for certain dates during the summer months. Specifically, on June 30th at MIT Museum, 265 Massachusetts Avenue, and July 14th at Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, 26 Oxford Street – both in Cambridge. The Highland Foundation was established in 1989 by David McGrath Jr. who was also the founder/owner of TAD Resources International Inc. After David passed away, TAD was sold to Adecco. Today, the Highland Foundation consists of David’s wife and their five children. Their mission is to address major needs and concerns for children and families in Massachusetts as well as California. They also strive to provide opportunity in education, housing, mentor ship, health care, environment, and the arts.
