Rise of the Jack O’Lanterns
Rise of the Jack O”Lanterns will be debuting in Boston this fall at the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center from October 27th through the 30th. Previously hosted in New York and Los Angeles, the event is expanding its geographic reach to provide a Halloween attraction for adults and children of all ages.
Featuring more than 5,000 hand-carved illuminated jack o’lanterns that have been creatively arranged along a scenic walking path, the pumpkins represent a number of time-honored characters from American pop culture. Some of the pieces will even feature multiple pumpkins as they create artistic structures such as life-sized dinosaurs and dragons. Other jack o’lanterns will be carved from 100-pound pumpkins, while the walking path itself is set to a musical score. Other features will include multiple live carving stations where visitors can watch the artists as they create their pumpkin treasures.
The well-lit and well-staffed path ensures safety for all participants. Advanced tickets are required for the event. The Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center is located at 1 Seaport Lane in Boston.
