If you enjoy beer and ale, great food and German culture, Harpoon Brewery’s 22nd annual German-style Octoberfest may be just the event for you. Boasting drinks, German food from local restaurants and plenty of entertainment, the German-style Octoberfest is a great way to spend a day or two in Boston.
Brews and Food
As might be expected from an OctoberFest, this year’s event will offer plenty of bratwurst. In addition to brats, you will be sure to find a wide variety of other German foods available for purchase.
Of course, an OctoberFest wouldn’t be complete without beers and ales. This is where Harpoon Brewery steps in to offer a variety of options from which to select. Brews that will be featured at this year’s event include:
- Harpoon Craft Cider – Pure and natural cider
- Harpoon Flannel Friday – A hoppy amber ale with a garnet hue.
- Harpoon IPA – Sturdy malt background with a hoppy finish.
- Harpoon Octoberfest – Malty, full-bodied tribute to fall.
- Harpoon Sweet Spot – A golden ale that is not too hoppy or malty.
- Harpoon Take 5 – A hop-forward golden/light amber brew with a significant malt body.
- UFO White – Light, crisp and refreshing spiced wheat beer.
- UFO Pumpkin – Malt combination with a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor.
Having Fun with Harpoon Brewery
