Arlington residents will soon have three more restaurants to select from when dining out. These restaurants include one that will offer Asian fare and two that are expanding their business within Arlington.
The first of these restaurants, Sono, will be located across from Summer Street Field at 471 Summer Street and should be opening any day now. Sono, which is an Asian restaurant featuring a sushi bar, is owned by Huanhuan Lin and features a sushi chef from Malden and one from Wu Chen. The restaurant is waiting to complete its final inspection with the Board of Health before opening. The restaurant plans to be open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday. It will not be open on Sundays. To learn more about the restaurant and to keep up with its schedule for opening, visit the Sono Facebook page.
Common Ground Bar and Grill will also be coming to Arlington. The new restaurant will be located in the old Gemma space on Broadway Plaza at 319 Broadway. This location will actually be the second location for the expanding restaurant. Owned by Bob and Laurie O’Guin of Newton, the restaurant will have 106 seats in the main room and another 90 seats in the back function room. Currently, the restaurant plans to remain open until midnight every day and should be opening sometime in February.
