Taking place on June 7th from 2:30 to 5:00 pm, the much-anticipated Boston Bacon and Beer Festival will be coming back for the 5th year in a row. If you haven’t already purchased your tickets, however, you may not be able to go. This year, tickets to the event sold out in a mere 45 seconds.
So, what makes the Boston Bacon and Beer Festival so popular? For some, the name of the event make be all that it takes to grab their attention. After all, bacon and beer are two items that many people passionately adore. Just as the name suggests, the festival provides ticketholders with the opportunity to enjoy tasty food as they sample a variety of different beers from more than 70 restaurants and brewers.
Taking place at The Fenway on the top floor of the Landmark Center parking structure, which is at 201 Brookline Avenue, this year’s event promises to be the largest yet. To add to the fun, one restaurant and one brewery will be awarded with the first Boston Beast in Show recognition. The winners, which will be chosen by festival participants, will each receive a donation of $1,000 to the charity of their choice.
In addition to providing ticketholders with fun, tasty food and great beer, the event is also put on for a good cause. The tickets, which cause $47 each, help to raise funds for Community Servings and Lovin’ Spoonfuls. Both organizations work to help provide food for the less fortunate.
If you are still hoping to join the fun at the Boston Bacon and Beer Festival, you’re your name to the waiting list for either a Regular ticket or a Baller ticket. If more tickets become available, those who are on the waiting list will be contacted first to make a purchase. There are also tickets still available for the food themed art show featuring bacon and beer snacks. Offered in partnership with the Super Precious Art Gallery, this event will take place on June 11th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and Burgers brick and mortar spot. With a theme of Tacos and Burritos, this is the third year for the art show to be offered. Regular tickets can be purchased for just $10 each, while Baller tickets cost $15.
