The 7th annual American Craft Beer Fest is just around the corner, with the dates for the festival being May 30 and May 31. Presented by BeerAdvocate & Harpoon Brewery, the event is set to feature more than 640 craft beers from over 140 American brewers at the Seaport World Trade Center.
Recognized as the largest celebration of American craft beer in the east coast, the event attracts more than 15,000 people from around the world each year. Unlike most beer festivals, the American Craft Beer Fest pays for the beer that is served at the festival. In addition, booth fees are waived to help support American craft brewers. As such, the sponsors of the event have spent more than $1 million over the past several years toward the craft beer that is served at the fest.
The first session of the festival will take place on Friday, May 30, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. Saturday will feature two sessions, with the first being from 1:00 to 4:30 pm and the second being from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. Each ticket holder will be assigned to one of these three sessions. The price of admission covers all beer tastings, a festival guide and a PLA compostable tasting cup. Food will also be available for purchase from vendors at the fest. No outside food or beverages are allowed at the fest.
