Tickets Still Available for the American Craft Beer Fest on May 30 and 31

shutterstock_153345629The 7th annual American Craft Beer Fest is just around the corner, with the dates for the festival being May 30 and May 31. Presented by BeerAdvocate & Harpoon Brewery, the event is set to feature more than 640 craft beers from over 140 American brewers at the Seaport World Trade Center.

Recognized as the largest celebration of American craft beer in the east coast, the event attracts more than 15,000 people from around the world each year. Unlike most beer festivals, the American Craft Beer Fest pays for the beer that is served at the festival. In addition, booth fees are waived to help support American craft brewers. As such, the sponsors of the event have spent more than $1 million over the past several years toward the craft beer that is served at the fest.

The first session of the festival will take place on Friday, May 30, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. Saturday will feature two sessions, with the first being from 1:00 to 4:30 pm and the second being from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. Each ticket holder will be assigned to one of these three sessions. The price of admission covers all beer tastings, a festival guide and a PLA compostable tasting cup. Food will also be available for purchase from vendors at the fest. No outside food or beverages are allowed at the fest.

Located at 200 Seaport Boulevard in Boston, the Seaport World Trade Center  is situated on the waterfront within the Seaport District at Commonwealth Pier. Originally opened in 1998, the building completed renovations in 2009. The Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center has since been named as one of “America’s Greenest Hotels” and has become a member of the Green Hotels Association. It was also awarded with the 2008 Waste Wise/Innovation Award by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the 2007 Boston Green Business Award from the City of Boston. Other recognitions have included the 2007 Good Earthkeeping Award by the Massachusetts Lodging Association and a 2008 award for the Bike Friendly Business program from the Boston Green Business. Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney have all stayed at this notable hotel.
